To champion the “effortlessly healthy” Nikkei tag for which they are renowned, MOMMI has strived towards an entirely gluten free food menu since launch. The small plate, market style ethos with taste profiles hailing from Latin America and Japan has always encouraged a deliciously different dining experience – epic flavours and a striking execution. “Official” gluten free accreditation from Coeliac UK is the ultimate approval stamp.
The bespoke selection of Set Dining Menus provide a curated balance of Fish, Meat & Veg dishes from the Robata Grill, Raw Bar and Hot Kitchen sections – the open plan kitchen encouraging diners to witness the path of their ingredients from picked to plate. Indigenous house dishes such as Nikkei chirashi sushi bowls, Japanese-inspired ceviche and quinoa-topped teriyaki are a natural fit for a gluten free food restaurant. A fully contrived weekend Brunch Menu (Bottomless Bubbly Set Dining of which is a big part) featuring Cinnamon Waffle Churros, Pan Y Chicharron and a decadent Melted Chocolate & Banana Brownie has been an exciting and experimental development challenge for Exec Chef Paul Sowden.
